CASE STUDY: STAFF WANTS TO BECOME YOUR BUSINESS PARTNER….. EXCITING OR DOOMED FOR FAILURE?

I’m looking at expanding my small home office business, as my only staff member wants to invest into the business. I am confused if I should say yes … but can’t operate from my home then, and will need external space. If we get a serviced office, do we need to sign long term contracts and need to be trading for a while? I feel we may need to register a new company if my staff becomes a partner. What are the pros and cons from your perspective?
